Animal, don't be put off by the stock America tires. I had them on through two years of the GA Rally. They performed just fine through some of the nastiest (as in best) twisties ever.
btw, I was also right behind our fearless leader Chy. Ask anyone there whether I had any problem keeping up!
Sure they are not the best tire in the world but they are definitely adequate...
