You want advice, I got it. These Triumph cruisers are like buying a camera or handgun - 'if it feels good in your hand - BUY IT. They are virtually the same bike, but I prefer the America because I don't like blacked out stuff.
I've owned every known brand and these are simply the best.
It's like voting for politicians in America in the 60s, Vote for the Kennedy of your choice, but just vote.
If I lived in Manchester or Seattle, I'd get a Vespa if a bike was my only means of being mobile. However, If you want a good bike with power & attitude, get one of these bikes. They are great handles in the rain.
As far as pipes - I gutted mine. You'll have to ask Adey or another folks from the mother abouth the pipe issue.
