I joined in 07 and it was still the old software version then too. It was for quite a while after I joined too, I can't remember exactly how long before the software change. I liked the old version better.
You are talking about an upgrade 3rd version (in 07 or 08) to the new (second) version installed in Jan of 2005.
The old (first) version died in Jan 2005.
If you look you will see a lot of the original members (including myself) here had to rejoin in Jan of 2005.
