Wow, I don't believe I finally have the America at a shop, with all the parts.
Alex in Bethany, dropped the bike off this morning.
Now lets see what Alex can do with the bike.
Needs the following:
Change rear brake caliper and entire brake line for the rear brake system.
From the caliper to the foot peddle brake line.
Rear brake caliper and mounting plate
Chain and sprockets if needed.
Alex noted the rear sprocket has good teeth depth to it and may not need to be changed,
Alex will checkout the front sprocket, for depth of teeth.
Motorcycle makes a clanking sound when one would start moving the bike from start to speed.
There is a rhythmic noise coming from the area of the chain and sprocket, in the rear.
I told Alex I am putting my life in his hands with the care of my motorcycle.
Maybe I can finally ride sometime around the end of next week.
I SURE HOPE SO!!!
