Looking to wire a set of passing lamps-spotlights into my headlight bucket on my 2012 America. These are old school Bates style 4 and 1/2 inch lamps with halogon high/low bulbs in them. Three leads coming from each lamp. Can I just wire these to the main headlight bulb plug wires? High beam lead from spots to high beam lead to main headlight bulb, low beam lead from spots to low beam lead to main headlight bulb? I don't want and on/off switch. And does anyone know what pin on the main headlight bulb is hi and which is low? Also, where does the third lead from each spot lamp hook into? Thanks for any and all help.

I wired them into the high beam on Wendys bike and it has been fine all these years so I would say you can. The best way would probably using a relay so the headlight trips the relay to power the light.
