I haven't been able to ride since October due to the knee replacement thing and being as how it was beautiful sunny day here in North Georgia and they say the rain is coming in tomorrow, it felt like a prime opportunity to get out and about. It was a bit cool but certainly tolerable and the sickle fired right up but I kept it close to home on some back roads and since traffic was nearly non existent, I "blew the soot out of it" a bit down Camp Wahsega road. It felt really good even if it was only around 10 miles.
When I got back home I went through my gear closet and basked in the memories of road trips passed and thumbed through my memories of my glory days. It's been a heckuvva ride and I'm just glad I can still get out and ride now and then..... a lot of my old buddies can't.
Anyways, wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy and prosperous new year .
I still miss the little bike riding smiley icon.....
