with the impending retirement of Triumph Twin Power messages I realized that they had several options on the Firestarter CDI's that I was not aware of. After looking back at my rebuild notes, it appears that I am still using the 904 custom CDI with the crazy high rev limit (maybe not the best idea). So I ordered a new Firestarter tuned for the 1100 and a more reasonable rev limit.

Of course timing is everything. It arrived yesterday and I am very much wanting to get it installed and try it out. However it is 20F in my shop and snow and ice on the roads.

The bike happened to be on the lift for winter storage so as soon as there is a warm day, easy install.

05 speedmaster - 1100cc, 11:1 racing pistons, Carillo rods, thunderbike cams, ported and polished head, 2mm over intake and exhaust valves, Barnett kevlar clutch, scepter pipes, oversize manifolds, 45mm HSR's, TTP stage 4 firestarter
