I looked at the 650 intercepter pretty seriously in 2019. I was looking for a commuter bike at the time. Great looking bike with a good standard riding position. 3 test rides. The brakes were okay but the power was not impressive. I was concerned that I would immediately start on the motor to get more power and by the time I got done it would not be the reliable, ride to work bike that I was needing.
I ended up with a 900 street scrambler instead, excellent ride. But not the retro cool look of the RE.
