No, I have never owned a harley.. they were always a little too rich for my blood. What i like most about this one, is mostly original.. I'm thinking it's going to make a nice looking bike with a lot of time and elbow grease. Since it's a survivor bike, I don't think I'm going to paint the tank and fenders.... just touch them up and buff them out and see what happens.
Ah! I guess that nice old ironhead Sporty I thought I remembered seeing a pic of years ago and taken during one of your rallies must have belonged to some Harley "interloper", eh?!
(...well, good luck with this Sporty...overall, it looks to be in pretty good shape...I've always had a soft spot in my heart for 'em ya know, and ever since I watched Michael Parks on TV ridin' around the country on one back in '69)
