Regarding the handlebars, I've made hundreds of sets of spacers for various forums' members.
Raise stock bars by about 1.25-1.5" for about $55 shipped to UK, PM me with your email address for pics

The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

Now that's weird.
Just received a genuine Triumph rubber knee pad kit ....not sure yet if I'll fit them but the whole caboodle was £13.
If I'd wanted the left pad only it was £38...if I'd wanted the right one only it was £21.
Yet the whole lot is £13?
Not that I'm complaining.

Here are some pics of the risers on mine. The SM bars are very comfortable for me with these risers. The SM bars do need to have a down angle.

It worked
They're very nicely made aren't they?
And you have the same bike in the same colour as I've bought.
And I can now see exactly what my newly arrived knee pads will look like on the bike.
So thank you on three counts!

Still waiting for my cush drive rubbers
Meantime I've ordered and they've posted a set of the new updated Hagon 2810s.
Couldn't find a set of Triumphs own ugly and expensive saddlebag supports ( listed at £124!) so after a few attempts to modify a spare set of Tbird ones I finally found that a set of Honda Vf750 Magna ones both fit well and look good .
But I'm worried now...is my bike no longer 'British'?

Well then...perhaps UK home market 2007 BA's & SM's were assembled in Blighty? That said, mine is a Thaiumph.

I think it was about of a lottery where they were built at first when they opened the Thai factory.I remember an interview with a senior Triumph bod who said there wasn't any particular plan ...they just ran the next production batch where they had most capacity at the time.
In the end though they all were made in Thailand.

........and a set of Hagon 2810's fitted this morning.
That feels somewhat better than standard.

I have the same risers on my 2015 now, the stock were better then on my 2007 (which I took them off of before it went to salvage) but that little extra rise and pullback really makes the bars more comfortable.

Thanks....I'm still in two minds..whether to go with risers or with standard America bars. I've got a set of standard bar clamps but a set of new America bars will cost me £111.
In the words of the Stones song....
