Thanks for the comps WOJO. Haven't decided on the full tilt chromed look as yet.
As to new gauges, I'm an analog type of guy. I like to see the hands (needles) move. Am currently looking at "AUTOMETER" or "STEWART WARNER" 2" auto type gauges. Will have to fabricate some mountings, but that I really enjoy. Should be nice to have twin gauge pods (similar to the RIII) (with oil pressure gauge between) to match my dual headlights.
The factory tach on the SM is practacally useless so I plan to install my relocated ignition switch there, as we did on the America.
I have seen handlebar mount tachs advertised. you might check one of those out.
