We have an abundance of small craft brewers in the Ottawa valley some very good and others not but then that's personal taste isn't it. Our grocery stores in Ontario earned the right to sell beer a couple years ago but it must be the craft beers making the industry much more viable. Probably like yourself Roadworthy I like to go out to the brewery and have a small sample check off the one or two I like then when shopping amongst the hundred or so in the cooler I know what I'm buying. We pay $3 to $4 CAD and sometimes more if high alcohol content for a 473 ml (17 oz) can.
That reminds me I have a Cherry Porter tucked away in the cool room, someone brought it to a dinner party and left it for my pleasure that might just have to come out to celebrate Easter Monday.
