Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Wow! Looks great -- how does the fly screen work? Buffeting? Is the bike comfortable? I sure like the color!

Thanks fellas . Like every Corbin I have the seat needs a little TLC to make it fit right. This one needed a few washers to raise it off the shock a tad.It is smaller than the America's seat. But is very comfortable. I'm not a fan of windscreens so I bought the dart "Piranha" the smallest.I was sceptical of how much it would do to keep wind off my chest but it works surprisingly well.no more pressure on my belly/chest there's still a little bit on myshoulders/helmet but definitely not as much as before. I'm happy with it. I put an "x-pipe" on it to remove the cat.converter.It "seems" ok and less restrictied.I rode from the local shop to home[about 3 kms] whenit started to rain and hasn't stopped since!Hopefully I'll get a ride on it tomorrow.

Thx for answering the fly screen and comfort question. No doubt, Corbin makes great seats; loved the ones I’ve had. Stay safe!

Yeah, and speaking of "neon blue" here...
So Paul, I see you haven't yet painted that blue stripe down the center of the front fender we talked about a while back.
(...change your mind about that or still thinkin' about it?)
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

It's supposedly the same blue from the 1200 Triumph scrambler Jake. I haven't thought about painting the "mudguard" Dwight.I think I'll just leave it.It did cross my mind to do the side panels but,I'll just ride it for now. The X pipe has really made a difference.I guess the computer took a couple of Kms to re-adjust.It sounds better and released the inner hooligan .It does scrape in the corners too easily.

MY 2006 Speedy is jet black/neon blue which is why I asked, that color and the sunset red used on the 06,07s are my two favorites.

It's not quite as "Neon" as the 2005/06 Speedy.Sort of a metalflake .

You drive on the right side of the road Dwight my friend, whereas we drive on the correct side of the road
Now hold on a minute here, Paul!
When exactly did a synonym for the word "correct" go from being the word "right" to the word "left", I ask???
Got ya THERE, didn't I!
(...and now back to that fende, ahem, okay "mudguard" here...so you say you're not gonna paint that blue stripe down it, eh?!...well, I still think it would add a nice little touch to that nice lookin' bike o' yours there)

OH yeah, when it comes to THAT kind'a thing, I'm right with ya here, Paul.
However, what say we keep your thread here from veering into a topic which might force the moderator to move it to you-know-where.
Wait! Come to think of it, ARE there any moderators LEFT around this place anymore???
(...and by "left" here, I'm of course NOT talkin' about the side of the road you ride on down there, dude!)

The samurai influence During the Edo period of Japan (1603 and 1868), before cars were even invented, the country had already established a number of strictly followed rules regarding which side of the road pedestrians could walk on, and as you may have guessed it was the left. Though it seems like an arbitrary rule in a world where getting around by foot meant that dodging cars and buses were not a problem, there was a purpose behind it, and it goes all the way back to the samurai.
Many of the footpaths weaving through the cities were narrow. During this time most samurai wore their swords on their left hand side, providing easy access to their weapons with their typically stronger right hand. The combination of these two factors meant that if samurai swordsmen were to cross paths walking on the right-hand side of the footpath their swords would have crossed over and potentially bumped into each other causing inconvenience or injury. It simply made sense to both sick to the left side. From the samurai era to today’s Shinkansen, it’s clear the Japanese have had the art of transport perfected for a long time.

Yeh, but if you crossed the centre line you got your head chopped off.
A dog, a bike, a ute,
Now in the deep south.. Newcastle.
Cold winters, cold rain
Come on summer
