It'd be a whole lot easier to split the chain. The swingarm isn't overly complicated to take off but way more work than just a chain replacement needs

I can't see the benefit of all the extra work. I still use a clip style master link and get, at the very least,25,000 miles out of my chain with no lube at all. Last one was over that and only changed it for peace of mind not visible wear.
