6/10/19 I had my left hip replaced. Have been doing lots of walking, and now walk without a cane and can walk up stairs with out the use of the cane either. Now the problem, I want to ride the America however I can not lift my right leg high enough at this time to get it over the seat.
Guess I will need to give the recovery more time. I an scheduled to return to work August 8th.

I hope it's getting better. I'm due for a knee replacement.I've been putting it off for years as I don't want to spend the "down time"and I'm scared if it doesn't go right I'll be worse off.The last doctor I talked to about it reckons about 80-85% are happy with them[knees].I know an old dude[not like us ] who had a hip done.He walked sort of stiff legged for quite awhile but he seems very good now.All the best
