I’m guessing this has already been covered, but I can’t find it. I put the TORS back on my 2010 — I pulled ‘em off not long after I bought it from the first owner who had the ECU updated for TORS.

The only difference between my bike now and stock is the pipes and the ECU tune update. My question, will the bike gain some horsepower?
Seems like it’s quicker (maybe its the noise from the pipes?)...

Thanks!

Depends what you switched from, anything that allows the bike to breathe better will give you small increases to a certain extent. If you had more restrictive pipes on with the TOR tune you probably had too much fuel being delivered with less flow robbing power. Then you go back to the TORs with better flow now able to burn the fuel being delivered and evacuate the combustion chamber so you would notice a bigger increase than going from a proper tune with restrictive pipes to a proper tune with more open pipes.

Thanks! That explains it - I thought I felt an increase, now I know why... I had the stock pipes on before the swap. Now riding's more fun!
