Sad and hard to believe. Todays generation, I'm sorry to say. Very little sentimentality or respect for the past. In a similar vein, I have my clothes in a walnut wooden dresser that was hand made by my carpenter great, great grandfather for his daughter's wedding gift in 1878. When I try and explain why this piece of furniture means a lot, my kids shake their heads and don't get it. I suppose when I pass it will go to the dump.
