Just rolled the 08 America out of mothballs. Battery in , check / fresh Fuel , check / Tire pressure , check. Fired right up no issues at all !

rear brake pedal is very low , takes more than 3/4 travel to engage brake. No fluid on floor or anything wet at master or caliper. Are the masters known to fail ,leak by and get fluid on the wrong side of the piston ?

Check your pads, the stock ones wear out quick

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Bleed the rear brakes. I bet some air is in the system. Don't know why air seems to get in these sealed units but they do. My Rocket had the same problem. After verifying I didn't have a caliper binding up, I bled the rear brake and sure enough, some air came out. No visible leaks either. All ok now.

PS, You should flush both sets of brakes every couple of years with fresh DOT 4 brake fluid. You will notice a difference in lever feel/feedback.
