A couple of articles I've read mentioned the use of a Booster Plug
https://www.boosterplug.com/shop/frontpage.html to relieve throttle snatchy-ness. I have used the Booster plug on a 2010 Tbird and felt it did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Additionally modifying motorcycles is what a lot of us do, we like to tinker and can't seem to leave well enough alone. Guilty as charged
Apparently if you decat the 1200 and install a crossover pipe this will improve throttle response and mpg's as well as reduce heat
but affect engine braking negatively.
