I feel like it’s quite similar, maybe not quite as much braking as the 790 engine but that could also be the five speed tranny. The drive-by-wire throttle does take some practice as the computer is significantly faster than closing the butterfly on a carb and that can cause uneven running on the wind down. You really feel it in town especially if you get on an all red light pattern.
