Wojo and I were comparing these at Daytona this year. I have the Triumph bars while Wojo just put on the Bellacorse bars. I'm kinda partial to the T bars myself.
T bars - upper and lower attachment points are on the frame of the bike, walls of the tubing are thicker than the B bars, smaller profile, their shape will not bend into the header if the bar folds backwards towards the engine (the B bars will).
B bars - upper attachment point is the horn bracket, lower attachment point are screws that go into the lower holes of the foot control bar, diameter of the tube is bigger than T bars but walls are thinner, larger profile than T bars and easier to attach highway pegs.
Like I said, I like the T bars better and here's why. I have crashed with them on (~25-30 mph left lowside into moist ground) and the bar folded towards the engine but did provide protection for the engine. After the crash I got some more of the same type and replaced them (bought cheap from another member). I like the slimmer look and don't want highway pegs so these were the natural choice for me. I also know how they fare in a low speed crash.
The B bars look decent enough and if you never crash they could be more useful than the T bars since they have a place to mount highway pegs.

I have Ma's 1" bars as well and really like them. After looking at this post I tried to find them on Ma's website but couldn't. The old site product review had Ma's pn MA0400B for the black ones, couldn't find a number for the chrome, and can't find either on Ma's site.

I have these also. Took them off briefly, but missed the highway peg attachment point too much. Actually I'm not certain they are still carrying the BA mount featured a couple years ago. I think Bob mentioned trying to develop another style. A phone call or e mail could easily confirm that.
BTW; If anyone is passing through or near Fargo, stop in at Ma's and say hi. I've been fortunate to be in the shop a few times and they are great people. I hope to be there again this June. Possibly on a x country scooter ride

I have the BellaCorse ones, and think they look great. The mounting is flimsy, at best. One bolt to the horn mounting tab, and two long bolts to peg mounting bar/down tubes. The bars don't connect on the bottom. Not what I'd call solid. I'm gonna order the one's from MA's, like Mert has. I'd be happy to answer any specific questions related to this.
Once I get the new ones, I'll give the BC ones to anyone here who want's to pay the shipping.

I had the Triumph bars originally, and I have the Bellacorse ones now. I much prefer the looks of the Bellacorse bars, but the Triumph bars are sturdier. I believe the tipover protection would likely be the same with both sets of bars, but I don't want to be the one to test this!

I just went on the MA's site, and couldn't find the ecb's. Sent them an e-mail. Will see what happens.

Has anyone attached highway pegs to the T bars or is this not a possibility like you say.

I hang my head in shame as I admit I did the "tip-over
test" of the BC crash bars last weekend. I was trying to
turn around on a steep mountain road, had the bars to the
left lock, and lost it. I wasn't moving, and, didn't really
drop it. More like kinda set it down gently on the left bar.
The only damage was some scratching on the Kuryakan
clamp. The bars saved the tank, I guess, but I think they'd
do more harm than good, at anything faster than dead stopped.

Thanks for the info, you guys rule. Looks like the Triumph or Ma's are the way to go. If anyone has a set for sale I'd be interested.

Triumph Engine dresser bars worked just fine on mine Friday at the Ga rally! Wet road, pickup truck coming my way, down I went. Only part hurt was my Pride. Steve

Huh? First I heard tell of it. Never would have known. And here I thought the Rally was incident free, well cept for things getting a bit upside down.

Sounds like the Triumph bars are pretty good Steve. Good to hear you weren't hurt....well, except for your pride. I know how that can hurt!

I have a few pics in my gallery. Here is one, does not show the OEM bars very well, but shows the highway pegs attached. I also posted this in another thread. Also, the link at the bottom will take you to some pics, have to filter through them to find any good shots of the bars.

I don't think the floorboards would interfere with the Bellacorse ones either.
