I hang my head in shame as I admit I did the "tip-over
test" of the BC crash bars last weekend. I was trying to
turn around on a steep mountain road, had the bars to the
left lock, and lost it. I wasn't moving, and, didn't really
drop it. More like kinda set it down gently on the left bar.
The only damage was some scratching on the Kuryakan
clamp.The bars saved the tank, I guess, but I think they'd
do more harm than good, at anything faster than dead stopped.
