One plus is that the available voltage and cold cranking amps will degrade very slowly even if the bike just sits idle in storage. Also, they can be mounted over, under, sideways or down in a custom bracket. Which was handy in one instance for me as I went with DNA Pod Filters and had to get creative with the battery and bracket placement to get it all to fit aesthetically. Also, the batteries are very light in weight compared to the other types we use, if that matters to you.
