Has anyone mounted an oil pressure gauge on their America/Speedy? If so, where is the best point for a sensor. I prefer an electric gauge mounted by the Speedometer.
The ride may be fun, but in the Great Scheme of things, it really is about the destination! John 3:16

The oil line behind the jugs that runs from the top of the trans to the head. The idiot light sensor is already at the top of that.I machined a double banjo bolt and my mechanical gauge gets pressure frm that line.

you can post the link for your pics still, just not a hyperlink to post the pic itself

I don't have a good shot of the connection, this is the best I have. All the shots I have of the 2 I made are to show the stainless bracket I made and the finished product. If you look at this pic you can see the oil line from the gauge and how it loops around. Behind the temperature gauge and to the right of the oil pressure gauge you can see another oil line that comes down between the carbs, that line is the one I was talking about. At the top of it is where the sensor for the oil light is. You could put a T fitting in there and have the sensor and sending unit there or eliminate the light and put your sending unit in it's place. Oil Gauge Pic
