Working in retail sales was a big shock after retiring from 30 some years of engineering. Sometimes it's a real pain in the dupa but there are occasions when it seems worthwhile.
Like the other day, a little Chinese lady asked for help to find something for a project. She was telling me how hard things were since her husband passed away. When I thought about her project and worked out what would be best but not too expensive, she said, "Oh sank you, sank you! You make me SO happy."
