Thw Imperial system tends to keep peoples minds sharp. I've even seen dogs and horses count to 10 for God's sake! When people could deal with fractions and count change in 16D to 1 S and 20 S to 1 L, they were very intelligent and there was a British Empire so vast that the sun never set on it. Now that the UK has dumbed down and can't work with fractions or proper money, the empire is bloody well gone in the bin.
