Ryk Check Pants Joined: May 2010 Posts: 5,720 Pac. NW	Or maybe, just maybe your tank vent hose is pinched off. Same symptoms occurred to me with the first modern Triumph I owned, including the backfires. Before I quit riding, I'll probably lose a pick up coil, hopefully not 4 states from home.
