I could only tell so much from the pictures. The motor should be here in a few days. I will look it over thoroughly

I am thinking to go to an 1100. Assuming that my head and cams are still good and it's just the cylinders and pistons and Carrillo rods (this time) and no more 12:1's.

I have a strong feeling that low octane fuel played a big part in this.

As for oil, always Mobil T 1 racing 20-50 full synthetic. Running though better than OEM coolers.
Moments before it blew I looked down at the temp and pressure gauges. And all was good.
