The local Triumph dealer gave me an estimate (which I had to remind them to send to me after a whole week) of $6227 CAD Did not include replacement of the saddle bag and the summer screen although priced is not included. I think they added a few extra parts that might have a tiny scratch but she said that is what they do. So now its time to negotiate with the adjuster.
I sat on the new Speedmaster which at first felt good albeit the thin padding on the seat meet my skinny butt. I had a salesman sit on the bike so I could climb up onto the pillion to see how Jane would like it, too cramped and again a pad only a size 5 might like to sit on for more then 1/2 hour. The thing that I disliked the most was the "Beach" bars felt very unnatural and with a little arthritis from a ski accident 45 years ago and this last spill I could not ride it for long. Put the Bobber bars or the T120 bars on it and I'd like it more.
