What size socket do I need for my sparkplugs? And if I want to take the forks apart?

I believe the plug is an 18 mm, but you must take care that the socket will fit, it requires a thin walled socket. I believe others here have had good luck with craftsman....I am sure you'll get more informed responses from others soon....

Fork caps are 22mm I believe. Just had mine off for some chrome work and that number seems to stick in my head....along with about 250 gazillion other numbers.

Craftsman 6 point thin walled socket works. It's gotta be the thin walled one. Here's A Link For A Thread On It

Yup, I bought a set of deep well Craftsman. They fit with plenty of clearance. A ratchet/torque wrench however, may take a little playing with if you don't have the tank off. You can only get a very small twist from it before it contacts either valve cover
