quote]Glad to hear this, Rich! I've been hoping something nice like this would come your way!

Now...

I know this is kind of personal, but you guys are my friends. I've found love again. You all remember that my beloved Kathy passed away last Sept after years of long illness, the last couple of which sapped her mind away a little at a time until it was like living with a ghost. I spent some months grieving and crying alone in front of her picture. I slowly began functioning again and started dating a little while ago.
Then, due totally to God's good providence and through no design of my own, I met a beautiful woman of my age. We nearly instantly was attracted to each other. Kissed on the second date and are progressing slowly with each other. We have just tonight professed our love for each other. She is a widow of 4 years herself. And just to make it interesting, she is black. (I know my friends on here will support us irregardless of color differences)
To say I am over the moon would be understating it. And I know that my Kathy, who is now a being of pure love with God, is happy for me. Just wanted my friends on here to know so that you can be here with us at the beginning of our journey. Peace out, my brothers.

...the ONLY thing I'm NOT going to "support" you on is your use of the word "irregardless" here!

And 'cause, THERE'S NO SUCH WORD IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE!!!

(...it's either "regardless" OR "irrespective", dude!)

I never had any large respect for good spelling. That is my feeling yet. Before the spelling-book came with its arbitrary forms, men unconsciously revealed shades of their characters and also added enlightening shades of expression to what they wrote by their spelling, and so it is possible that the spelling-book has been a doubtful benevolence to us.
However to address to sentiment expressed; God's good providence is a correct statement indeed. May he also bless you with many wonderful years together.
Also correct is the persuasion that we dont regard color or race as a thing to cast disunion upon.

I have no faith in human perfectability. I think that human exertion will have no appreciable effect upon humanity. Man is now only more active - not more happy - nor more wise, than he was 6000 years ago. Edgar Allan Poe
