I love the bikes, hate the company. Local shop wont work on it because it's 15 years old. Parts dept never knows where the parts are, whether they're coming from UK or domestic. No tracking numbers once the parts ordered. Ive had my bike jacked up for 3 weeks. it is my only vehicle and all i want to do is fix it. instead I'm waiting on a bushing now that may get here next week or next month. All so Triumph can dick the aftermarket world and commit financial communisum. Complete joke. Triumph can suck the dog. ive spent 20 years telling everyone how great These bikes are. Ive convinced many people to buy Triumph. Loyal customer is an understatement. my next bike was gonna be a Triumph but they seem to give less of a ****** than Harley. At least if i had a hog i could fix it when it breaks. I've spent about 500 so far getting to work in a cab. all of my freinds are abusing me because i cant get my bike fixed. Triumph's incompetence is really frigging up my life. What a joke. IT IS A ****** BUSHING. And i had to go aftermarket chain and sprocket because Triumph wouldnt sell me an oem chain. Just...didn't know if they had it.... enough Triumph. Get your ****** together you moneygrubbing twats. I dont have a lot, so maybe you don't care about me. Maybe you'll miss the next 10g I drop on a machine. You don't deserve to do business, the way you're doing it.

BIKEBANDIT SUCKS. They held me up for weeks and couldnt tell me when my parts were arriving or even where they were. they said they needed 2 weeks to even determine they had the part. parts dont ship fron them for 7 to 10 days, and then we wait for it to come from wherever its coming. its Triumph's fault. Yer, why would an online parts company do this to their customers? Major inconvenience. "maybe well get ur parts, we will let u know 4 sure in 2 weeks" Wtf Im sorry i do not have a part number. today, all day on the phone, no one wants to help. I need a set of rear shock bushings for a 03 America. I also have soem jobs that id like to get to so i can keep having a home. Sorry Triumph i dont want to be partners. I don't have all day. and theyve taken a month. You knnow what, I don't want a Harley but I am not doing 20 more years w this stupid bulllshit.

If I had to rely on one vehicle, it wouldn't be one that was 20 years old and not a lot were made in the first place.
Try getting a part for a 20 year old car that was made in the number your Triumph model was. Good luck.

I am dealing the cards ive been dealt. If i could buy a new bike today i would aand it wouldn't be a Triumph. I dont think fuming over being screwed around for parts for over a month is even remotely unreasonable, regardless of age. my bike is well maintained. I had a 1990 brougham that i fixed on the fly walking to autozone every time. never waited for parts. Had a 2000 Volvo which was even easier to get parts for. Never waited once. that car is gone now through no fault of my own and I'm happy to use my bike but Triumph only loves me if i buy something NEW TODAY. if it wrent for dedicated britbike fanatics there'd be a lot of british junk out there. Kinda sad.
This is a new way of doing business that presumes a partnership pf sorts. its yuppie ******. I don't see how any mc enthusiast/biker/rider/anyone who supports independence could support it.

Sorry for your troubles. I do not disagree with you at all as far as Triumph's support and their loyalty to us.
I will tell you that everything I need for my bike I get through Eddy. I just tell him what I need and he does the rest. He is a Wisconsin Hound Dog.
Maybe the answer was right in front of you all the time.

Got the first oil change from Triumph. That's all. Lowe's has several drawers full of bushings, maybe even the one you need. It's worth a look.

I've said this before, Bike Bandit doesn't have any more pull with Triumph than a dealer, probably less. Like the Dog said find a old established dealer to deal with. I've never had problems getting parts. If the part isn't in stock, I usually get it with in a week.

True, I have been dealing Triumph parts with Hermys for 30+ years. I used to deal with Hermy Jrs parents before his mom passed away and his dad retired.

Wait, Alan! You're now saying that second T-Bird you purchased recently is giving, or I supposed because of the past tense you just used here, GAVE you problems TOO???
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Yes folks, that's exactly what I'm saying... actually it's my 3rd Tbird. Rode my beautifully running 1600 in to a main dealer for a 12 k valve shim...they snapped a spark plug in the head....lots of loud words ...gave me an allegedly good part ex on an almost new Tbird LT with 2 k on it....and it was that one which stuffed a big end bearing in Holland a week ago. Just got a full refund after threating legal action. You couldn't make this stuff up.

Bloody Hell you have some trouble Alan! Do you spend you're time walking under ladders and having black cats cross your path?Locate a new dealer perhaps?

Aye, I'm well known in local biking circles for having plain bad luck. My Beloved says ' If it CAN go wrong on a bike it WILL go wrong on yours.' I reckon Triumph ought to pay me as a development rider to find all those faults that first owners discover after they've bought their bike.

I rarely get anything from the dealer.

Very happy for you! Sounds like your partner sticks by you. May you find joy in that relationship if your bike ever lets you down again.
