I picked up a 650 Kawasaki Vulcan to run around on it Thailand .Haven't used it much yet but it's some bike for the money.which with dicount is about the same price as Australia.I was at the Triumph dealer and the New 1200cc Speedmaster is 632,000 Baht.about 480,000 is 20,000 Aussie dollars ATM.I paid 240,000 for the Kawasaki.

Visited the Triumph dealer in Chiang Mai this past February and the prices blew me away. It seems the price (tax) curve goes up faster then the CC curve. That Vulcan might be better for manouvering in traffic in the city but still enough punch for the highway.

Yep it's enough for Thailand for sure.I'd love a Triumph but not at those prices.There's a lot of U tube on the Kawasaki beating Harleys and stuff, a Rocket 3 too in rolling drags.I'm sure it'd leave my America behind.
The turning circle a little large for around here but it isn't too bad in traffic,and it'll sit comfortably at 110 + KPH so all in all Best bang for the buck here ATM I think.

Great looking bike! I have been keeping my eyes on the Vulcan S. They are priced very competitively in my area as well.

Yes it's ok looking.Not the run of the mill Harley V Twin wannabe.As I've said I'd love a Triumph but not at those prices.If I get anotherTriumph
it'll be in Australia.
