I definitely recommend the remap. Should be very cheap, just incorporate into your next scheduled service. You will have ridden a few miles before then, so maybe you decide against it, but I think can not hurt and will likely help.
I have the shorter ones. These are generally called TORs, Triumph Off Roads (long TORs, short TORs).
They seem to be some of the more highly regarded aftermarket mufflers.
