Well, smacked another deer tonight. That's number 3 for me. Thanks to my super bright led sidlights and my projector headlight I saw her standing a ways out. I was only puttering around at 45 mph anyways on a backroad. Braked to about 20 and I thought she was gonna let me go by, but NO!, she had to make a couple of big jumps and landed right in the front right corner of the bike. The crash bar took the brunt of it and knocked her down and spun her around. She stumbled up, I kept the bike up ok, and she hobbled off the road. She's gonna have some serious bruises tommorrow! Cracked my windshield some but ok other than that. STOOPID DEER! I guess I should have totally stopped the bike and led her across the road by hand! Jeez!
