I did not see a Stage 2 kit for Americas and Speedmasters. Odd.
Our testing and multiple dyno runs impressed upon us that removal of the airbox and fitting pod filters did give an increase in top end power, but the mid-range torque suffered too much compared to keeping the airbox in place and modifying it with a Stage 1 Torque Induction Kit.
We decided not to produce an airbox removal kit for the America/Speedmaster for these reasons as a majority of cruiser riders would be happier with increased mid range torque than top end power. If you're building a performance engine with head work and performance cams etc., then airbox removal would possibly be the way to go depending on your requirements.
