They said take a pair of your best fitting pants, button the top button and measure across and multiply X 2. Then measure the inseam from crotch to cuff where you want it. I have since looked on their site and that info I cannot find. I did it according to their instructions and their pants fit me perfect (then). They did not shrink after washing. By the way, I have 2 pairs 32X29 that I have outgrown, they don't guarantee that. Any one is welcome to them for shipping as I have up-graded to 36X29. Very good products. We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told.
