Intelligent Design does not declare a particular God or designer. It simply points out the flaws in the idea that everything happened by accident. Atheists and Agnostics cannot begin to answer the questions ID raises. What you do with the conclusion that the universe was designed is up to you. As for judging the one who designed the universe I'm pretty sure none of us are qualified to do so.

We all like to think of ourselves as rugged individualists. But when push comes to shove most of us are sheep who do what we are told. Worst of all, a lot of us become unpaid agents of whoever is controlling the agenda by enforcing the current dogma on the few rugged individualists who actually exist.
