In another thousand years or so, people will be talking about christianity and the myth of Jesus and his dad the same way.

May i ask, you don't believe Jesus existed?

This should prolly be moved to the cone of silence. It's almost like an oil question but can be more toxic.

I believe Jesus existed, as a person. I do not believe he was the son of any god, nor was he the product of a virgin birth. There have been many "gods" that share a lot of the same details of a Jesus story, dating before that one. Do you believe Jesus was a long haired white man as depicted in all western versions of the story?

Why, OF COURSE he did, Dave!

Uh-huh, he looked JUST like the blue eyed Jeffrey Hunter did in that 1961 flick "King of Kings"!!!

(...although in that '65 flick, "The Greatest Story Ever Told", most historians when tell you that no Roman soldier at the Crucifixion ever looked like John Wayne, AND probably never uttered those immortal words in that oh so unique cadence Big Duke always had, "He truly was the Son of God" as the sky filled with rain)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
