Let me know your work schedule. I work rotating shifts so my off time is erratic. I am only 150 minutes on the other side of Nashville. I get a 7 day break every three weeks, but May is booked - heading to the RedNeck Riviera in a couple weeks. I gotta go find a throttle cable since mine broke 9 miles from home yesterday. I had to finger throttle Vera all the way home in traffic.

I knew the Wojomeister would chime in...I was thinking somewhere around Columbus. It would be a good middle point for me & the NY crew....not too far from Detroit either. It would be a breeze for you.

I was thinking the same thing!! All of a sudden it's real quiet from the Ohio crowd. I think we'll let them come regardless if they want, it would be nice to get some advice about which area would be best and some rides we can go on.
Columbus sounds good to me and so does August. So who's going to do the leg work on this or do I have to step up?

Hey now there...I thought "OH Rally??? was like "Oh, let us have a rally???"
I live north of Cincinnati, near Kings Island Amusement Park and the local Harley Mecca Aces and Eights. Maybe we could bust their Saturday morning or Wednesday Parties and steal some hamburgers? 
Anyway, July 28-30 2006 AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days. AMA Direct Link. Never been but I've had my eye on going this year. Looks like you gotta buy tickets.
Ohio Bike Week looks pretty neat also.
Always Reds baseball games going on in Cinci. If anyone rides by Dayton OH (on I75) you have to stop by the Wright Patt Air Force Museum. It's free and is an awesome display of planes.

North East Ohio where the twistys start
Canal Road starting At the Quaker Steak and lube Follow the old Erie Canal twist a turns down through Canton Ohio
by the Football Hall of fame. Hook up with old route 43 long time ago it was the link between Norhtern and southern Ohio. Down through th Steubenville hills twists and turns its a old steel town right on the river. Route 22 through to Cadiz (old coal mine town where Clark Gabel was born).
Link thriugh to Sugercreek right in the middle of Amish country run north back to Akron on farm roads the are smooth and can break your heart on how fantastic everything looks. That run you can see every thing the eastern part of Ohio is. Builtup towns farm land old indusrty older strip mines flat roads and mountain roads amish country and back to the city. Every town is different and was dependent on a different industry. Heck its a tour of the death of the blue collar worker in America!!!

Okay this is just a quick look right now but I was thinking how about the first weekend, August 4,5 & 6 or the second weekend, August 11, 12 & 13. Any later and it screws with Pat's Nor'east rally (which I'm going to anyways). And I was thinking the town of Logan in the buckeye hills area. Here's a web site to some road reviews. We've got to move on this pretty quick if we want to get it done this year. Thoughts? Suggestions?
