SCALEXTRIC was big when I was a kid.
My older brother and his friends had a big set up with loads of different cars.
I was allowed along sometimes - to watch only.

Looking at the sets now, wow, the kids now have it good.
Modern racing replicas like a 2017 AMG GT3 Merc and now even classic cars like '65 E-Type Jag, '70 Ford Falcon, '69 Camaro even a VW Camper - to name but a few.

I can still that slight burning smell from the contacts and the transformer !!

And, wouldn't you know it, the modern stuff has digital set ups and there is an App to control it
