Been a long time since rain gear was donned before leaving the driveway. Should clear the wet at
Milledgeville, south of Madison, south of Athens. Dry when rolling into Dahlonega. Then pontoonies er pontoons all week long. Ah, the good old days of the GA rally! Looking at a 7am kickstand up. A month ago, April 16, saw much the same except dressed for cold weather not for the wet. This trip, no cold weather gear. Hum, I’d better stow sum just in case the weather liers get it wrong and we ride the cherohala. Brrrr.
Funny how one month ago, same ride, saw me powering up my heated vest in hazlehurst whereas today I’ll be lucky to be stowing my rain suit thereabouts. Currently scarfing loads of bacon java an egg toast and more java.
