The only upside to HDs is how they hold their value. That doesn't mean they're worth the ASININE amount people ask for used HD's, but some how, some way there is always some rub out their willing to pay $7K for a 1991 used 833 Sportster with a few aftermarket parts. I will give Harley this, they have GREAT brand loyalty and folks are willing to pay the extra cash just to own the name. Just like folks who are willing to pay $200 for a pair of pants that were manufactured at the same factory in China that the Old Navy $20 special was...

And for those who defend their purchase with "it's american made" seem to forget that when you do the math, the parts on a HD are 80% (or some high percentage like that) manufactured overseas.
