but this is for a golf cart steering assembly, the only tie rod that would fit was from a whatever brand/year car we found, it fits , the shaft goes into a hole in a pivot and held there with a nut. The threads on this thing are LH, hence the inquiry. Beggars cain't be choosy. So, will look for a LH nut, or tap out one myself. And it's metric, aaarrrgggghhhh !!!
I bought the reverse thread die to cut threads on a bolt for my aftermarket shift rod. the RH was about 6 bucks and the LH was about 40. from mcmaster/carr
