Ah, I see......though may I also grab this opportunity to rant against the increasing trend to turn nouns into verbs. First we abolished the verb ' to give' replacing ' give' or even 'gave' by the awful ' gifting ' non- word. Now I see from the article that Belstaff is ' headquartered ' in UK. I knew this sort of nonsense would follow when we relinquished the Empire.

Alan, don't get started about the lingo. Dwight will be on complaining about the superfluous 'U' we use ...

Racing doesn't start until tomorrow for Speed Week. If they even are entered into this event, you likely won't here anything until the middle of next week. The AMA event isn't until the end of the month. Not sure if they are entered into that one either.

Racing at Speed Week started this morning. The very first vehicle down the track was the Poteet & Main "Speed Demon", with a 418mph pass. Exit speed was 431. Two vehicles later was Danny Thompson with the "Challenger 2", making a 431mph lap. Exit speed was 439.
Triumph can't blame the weather for not going...

Yes but who is the major supporter of this endeavor? Triumph or Carpenter and what's the official excuse for not hitting the record? Technical problems or lack of cash?
