They're comfortable as long as they have the "pay extra for" backrest to me. They do breathe, which helps in hot weather. They make a few variations and you get what you paid for. If I can't have my favorite broke in, Corbin, Saddlemen s makes my second choice for touring. I had two, sold one to a Member in Florida, still have the Cadillac backrest model on my two-up bike.
