That is exactly what that is a "Blocking Plug", folks have tried unsuccessfully to install a tach on the America thinking that is the plug in.
But the reason for the post and I thank you for responding, Triumph lists a different part number for the wiring harness mid 2016. May just be as simple as a different provider and likely there is not change between the years but I am looking for a confirmation.
Triumph is TERRIBLE in sending instructions that address the installation of the item correctly.
