Greetings. I have a 2002 BA that I have owned since 2003. Love the bike, predates my wife, kids, house, job, pretty much everything.

I am going to put some much needed elbow grease into her this winter. When looking at parts/accessories on the triumph website, dang near ever part says it is available for EFI models made after a specific vin. No mention of the 2008 and earlier bikes

Did the model years change that much between the carb and EFI models? Visually it doesn't appear so.

I've always wanted a 2 person, one piece seat like that was offered on the newer America models, or the lower profile gel seat available as a accessory, I'm just looking for some verification on if those parts will fit.

thanks.

2011 Seems to be the major transition year aside from fuel injection in 2009., Somebody please correct me, if I got any of this wrong. The seat bolt pattern is unchanged, throughout the product runs. I have a 2014 seat that fits 2003, 2004, '05, '06, 07, and an '09.

I might be wrong here but the one piece seat on my 014 LT has an extra latch on it compared to the earlier two piece seats I've had on other TBA,'s.
I don't seem to recall the midway latch on these...on the other hand I can't see why the one piece wouldn't work with just front locating tang and the rear bolt to keep it in place.

I took the Road Less Travelled. Now where the ****** am I?
