I ran a Procom unit for years. I really liked the higher rpm because my stock ignitor cut out at like 7400. I never could get the power band to feel the same as the stock unit, and I had tuned and re-tuned it and rode with a laptop to tune it on the road and re-test... Eventually my super old laptop crashed and it was the only Windows computer I had so I lost all my tunes. I never had a problem with starting or stumbling once the dial position was set properly. I bought the TTP Firestarter a couple years ago now with the Stage II tune and a 9000 rpm limit. It is smooth throughout the entire throttle and starts right up even faster than the Procom unit did. The only issue I ever had with it was that the original one I ordered did not come with the 9000 rpm limit I had requested, it was set at 8500 and it would not go higher so I sent it back for a re-tune. I still have my stock unit just in case but I doubt I'll ever need it. For the price, the TTP unit is the way to go unless you want to spend a ton of time tuning your own, but the Procom unit is not Android or Mac compatible. At least it wasn't when I had one. I believe TTP can reprogram your stock unit as well, for a higher rpm range.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.
