Sounds like an English Friday would be the same as an American Wednesday...
Monday you are hung over from the weekend. Tuesday is a little better. Wednesday you are fully recovered. Thursday you are dreaming of the weekend. And Friday you are already on weekend mode, and rush through everything so you can leave.
As far as I am concerned, I have a Wednesday Bonneville America. It is great fun, and gives me no problems. I had a Speedmaster prior to this. I bought it from a co-worker, and it was my first bike. I love the air cooled Bonne series of bikes. I can't really see myself getting a newer liquid Bonne.
